Hanjin service will speed Vietnam cargo

Hanjin service will speed Vietnam cargo

Hanjin Shipping said it will launch a new weekly container liner service in June that connects Haiphong in northern Vietnam with Shanghai and Busan.

The Haiphong Express Service (HES) will utilize two 600-TEU ships, one each deployed by Hanjin Shipping and Sinotrans.

Hanjin said the new service would allow it to transport cargo from Vietnam to the United States two to three days faster. It also said deployment of its ship would provide it with “more stable vessel space during the peak season.”

Hanjin also operates another weekly service that connects to Ho Chi Minh City in southern Vietnam with Hong Kong, Busan, Gwangyang, Singapore and Pasir Gudang.
