Hanjin, Sinokor, Dongnama to start Thailand service
Hanjin Shipping, Sinorkor Merchant Marine Co., and Dongnama Shipping Co. Ltd. will later this month start a joint weekly intra-Asia string called New Thailand Service (NTS).
Three 900-TEU vessels will be deployed on the NTS, which will call Busan, Gwangyang, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Busan.
'The new service will improve efficiency in vessel operation while reducing the transit time on the Far East Asia-Thailand route,' Hanjin said in a statement.
'The Thai market is expected to see a constant growth of transport volume. In particular, ample supply of reefer container equipment will enhance profitability and sales competency by enabling seamless delivery of frozen goods from Thailand,' Hanjin said.
