Hanjin, Sinokor launch intra-Asia service

The South Korean ocean carriers will commence the KH1/IHP loop this week between South Korea, Hong Kong, Vietnam and China.

   Ocean carriers Hanjin and Sinokor will launch an intra-Asia service between South Korea, Hong Kong, Vietnam and China this week, according to the carriers’ online service schedules.
   Hanjin will refer to the loop as the KH1, while Sinokor will call it the IHP.
   The KH1/IHP will have a rotation of Inchon, Pyeongtaek, Busan, Hong Kong, Haiphong, Yantian and Inchon.
   Two vessels will operate on the loop, the 1,200-TEU Pacita, operated by Hanjin; and the 1,060-TEU Hong Kong Voyager, operated by Sinokor.
   The KH1/IHP will commence operations with Friday’s sailing of the Pacita from Inchon.
