Hanjin, Wan Hai cooperate in transpacific    Hanjin Shipping and Wan Hai Lines said they will begin cooperating in the transpacific trade effective mid-March.
   Hanjin said Wan Hai Lines will contribute a ship to its South East Asia-Japan Express (SJX) service that includes direct service between Vietnam and the United States.
   The SJX, which employs six Hanjin ships with average capacity of 4,154 according to ComPair Data, will use five Hanjin ships and one Wan Hai vessel beginning in mid-March. The service will also add a call in Hong Kong in addition to current ports to attract more cargo from South China areas. The rotation is Port Kelang, Singapore, Cai Mep, Hong Kong, Yantian, Osaka, Tokyo, Long Beach, Oakland, Tokyo, Osaka, Hong Kong, Port Kelang.
   The PSX rotation is Yantian, Kaohsiung, Shanghai, Kwangyang, Pusan, Long Beach, Oakland, Seattle, Pusan and Yantian.
   Both the SJX and PSX services are part of the CKYH alliance that also includes COSCO, 'K' Line and Yang Ming.
