Hanjin, Yang Ming plan China/Australia link
CKYH Alliance members Hanjin Shipping and Yang Ming said Monday they will start a new service with STX Pan Ocean and Sinotrans connecting Australia with China and South Korea.
The weekly service, called CKA, is to begin in early May and will be operated with five 2,400-TEU ships. Hanjin will provide two ships, with the other three carriers providing one each.
Rotation is Busan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou, Kaohsiung, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Busan.
