He will be responsible for the heavy-lift carrier’s global sales, strategic business development and marketing.
Roehl has more than 20 years of logistics and shipping industry experience. Last year, he supported Hansa as an outside consultant focusing on forming its global sales network. His work included establishing Hansa’s Singapore office, positioning Hansa with large shippers, and helping to set up its management team.
Hansa started operations in Bremen, Germany on June 1, 2011, and is owned by investment firm Oaktree which has more than $80 billion of assets under management.
