Hapag-Lloyd leaves ISDA

German ocean carrier Hapag-Lloyd has withdrawn from the Indian Subcontinent Discussion Agreement, effective June 24.

   The ISDA’s scope includes ports and points in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka to all ports and points in the United States.

   The remaining parties of the agreement are CMA CGM, Emirates Shipping Line, Evergreen, MacAndrews, NYK, Shipping Corp. of India (SCI), United Arab Shipping Co. (UASC), and Zim Integrated Shipping Services.
