HAWLEY, BRADY APPOINTED TO FAA SUBCOMMITTEE

Kip Hawley and Philip Brady have been appointed to the Federal Aviation Administration's Management Advisory Council Air Traffic Services Subcommittee. Their appointments fill vacancies on the five-member subcommittee for fixed terms up to four years.

Hawley is executive vice president of corporate development for Arzoon Inc., and will maintain that position while serving on the subcommittee. Most recently, Hawley had provided services and expertise in development of the Transportation Security Administration. Prior to joining Arzoon, Hawley was president and chief executive officer of Skyway Freight Systems, a third-party logistics provider.

Brady is president of the National Automobile Dealers Association, and will maintain that position while on the subcommittee. Brady worked in the White House as assistant to the president and staff secretary from 1991 to 1993, and in DOT as general counsel from 1989 to 1991.

The subcommittee was formed in 2001. Members are appointed based on their expertise, management ability, and labor relations experience. The panel has direct oversight and approval responsibility of FAA air traffic contracts totaling over $100,000.
