Held resigns as Schenker’s chairman
Thomas Held has resigned as chairman of Schenker AG, the international freight forwarding arm of the Deutsche Bahn group.
Held will leave the Essen, Germany-based company Jan. 31.
“This decision has been taken in a spirit of the most amicable mutual understanding,” Deutsche Bahn said in a statement.
Held joined Schenker’s management board in 1997, becoming chairman Jan. 1, 2003.
