Hellmann Logistics teams with Havertys Furniture
Hellmann Worldwide Logistics said Tuesday it will provide logistics and forwarding services for Havertys Furniture Company, with a strong emphasis on movements from Asia and customized information technology services for the Atlanta-based furniture company.
A statement said Havertys chose Hellmann because Havertys wanted comprehensive, seamless, integrated global services. Hellmann will implement a customized IT package that will provide Havertys with 100 percent real-time visibility of the Havertys supply chain via the Internet.
Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is based in Miami. Its corporate origins trace back to Hellmann forwarding in Osnabruck, Germany.
