Hellmann to use CargoSmart schedule product
CargoSmart, a software as a service (SaaS) global shipping and logistics solutions provider, on Wednesday said Hellmann Worldwide Logistics will use its Private Label Sailing Schedule.
The product provides access to up-to-date and interactive schedules to its global operations team. It will allow Hellmann to deploy ocean carrier schedule information of more than 25 carriers' schedules from a centralized location.
Hellmann has more than 9,000 employees in 211 branch offices in 48 countries. The global logistics service provider's operations team used to obtain sailing schedules from more than 25 ocean carriers' Web sites, carrier sales representatives, and published schedules. Hellmann said it wanted to automate its process to save time obtaining accurate carrier schedules.
