Hoegh will call in Ghana

H'egh Autoliners Inc. said it will make twice-monthly direct calls at Tema, Ghana, in its West African trade lane.

“Our research and customer interaction indicated to us that this is a prudent addition to our rotation,” said James Perduto, vice president of marketing for H'egh Autoliners. “We believe that Tema will prove to be a positive move for us and enhance our customer service. H'egh Autoliners will continue to assess market conditions and consider additional ports of load and discharge as the business environment dictates.”

Tema will join the West African discharge ports of Lagos, Cotonou and Lome on a service that includes U.S. calls at Jacksonville, Fla., Baltimore and New York.
