Horizon ship damages Houston crane    A Horizon Lines ship damaged a crane at the APM Terminals facility in the Port of Houston April 14.
   The two companies issued a press release Monday saying they had “amicably and very quickly resolved the damage issue” and that the Horizon Challenger had departed the port and was expected to arrive in San Juan on schedule.
   According to a complaint filed in Southern District Court, the containership struck a terminal gantry crane, which was “displaced from its tracks and sustained substantial damage.”
   Horizon's ship was arrested, but was quickly released within hours after reaching an agreement with APMT.
   “We have a long and strong relationship with Horizon and there was no need for a bond,” said Joe Nielsen, APMT’s chief financial officer, and instead Horizon’s protection and indemnity insurance issued a “letter of undertaking.”
