HOUSE SUBCOMMITTEE HOLDS HEARING ON RAIL TRUCK SAFETY

   The railroad subcommittee of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee will hold a hearing today on rail track safety.

   Witnesses include Mark Lindsey, chief counsel and acting administrator of the Federal Railroad Administration; Robert Chipkevich, director of railroad, pipeline and hazardous materials safety, National Transportation Safety Board; and, Charles Dettman, chief safety officer, Associaton of American Railroads.

   The hearing will begin at 10 a.m., in room 2167, Rayburn House Office Building.
