Houston commission approves RPM installation
The Port of Houston Authority Commission on Monday approved a $189,000 construction contract to Four Seasons Development Co. Inc. for installation of U.S. Customs and Border Protection radiation portal monitors at Ramp Point at Barbours Cut.
The project is part of a proposed $4 million to $6.5 million port-wide plan to install 32 radiation portal monitors. There are already one dozen such monitors in place, the port said in a statement.
