Hub Group launches shipment tracking tool

The multi-modal transportation management company’s new tool, dubbed Hub Group Connect, provides customers with shipment visibility and online tracking.    Oakbrook, Ill.-based Hub Group, a multi-modal transportation management company, launched a new tool to provide customers with shipment visibility and online tracking, the company revealed Wednesday.
   Dubbed Hub Group Connect, the tracking tool aggregates data from the company’s satellite-tracked intermodal containers, trucking fleet and a network of truckload carriers.
   Hub Group Connect gives customers access to their shipments at all times from any device, including desktops, laptops, tablets or mobile phones.
   Users are able to track shipments for any mode of transportation, submit rate requests, book new shipments and set up automatic load status updates via text or email.
