HUTCHISON FINISHES DEEPWATER BERTH IN JAKARTA

Hutchison Port Holdings has completed work on a deepwater berth at the Jakarta International Container Terminal in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The new berth, built by China Harbor Engineering Co., is another step “in the development of Indonesia’s major hub port,” said John Meredith, group managing director of Hutchison Port Holdings.

An additional 513 meters of quay deck will soon link the Jakarta International Container Terminal with the KOJA Container Terminal.
