Hyundai joins INTTRA

Hyundai Merchant Marine Co. has agreed to join the ocean common carrier information sharing system INTTRA.

INTTRA modified its agreement on file with the Federal Maritime Commission to reflect the Korean liner company joining the portal. Hyundai is also a member of the competing GT Nexus information portal.

With the addition of Hyundai, there are 22 liner companies that now belong to INTTRA. Some of the companies have common owners. These include six shareowners of INTTRA: A.P. Moller-Maersk (which also owns the MCC and Safmarine brands), CMA CGM (including its ANL brand), Hamburg-Sud (including the Alianca and FANZL brands), Hapag-Lloyd AG, Mediterranean Shipping Co., and United Arab Shipping Co.

Non-shareholder members of INTTRA are CSAV (which includes the Norasia and Libra brands), DAL-Deutsche Afrika-Linien, 'K' Line, MISC Berhad, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, NYK, Senator Lines and Tasman Orient Line.
