Hyundai turns big Q3 profit    Hyundai Merchant Marine said last week it had third quarter operating profit of $261 million, a major reverse on the roughly $275 million loss in the same period in 2009.
   The Korean carrier announced its preliminary third quarter results last week, with revenue rising 56 percent to nearly $1.9 billion, and a record operating margin of 19.6 percent.
   Container volume rose 15 percent to 769,000 TEUs, with transpacific volume up 25 percent. Asia/Europe and intra-Asia volumes rose 8 percent and 6 percent, respectively.
