IAG to bolster pharma offering in Singapore

   To bolster its share in the Singapore pharmaceutical market, IAG Cargo will add A380 service, equipped with a fully air conditioned cargo hold, from Singapore to London in October.
   According to IAG, there are more than 30 of the top biomedical science companies operating in Singapore.
   “With some pharmaceutical shipments valued at millions of pounds, our ability to offer temperature-control capabilities between Singapore, Heathrow and beyond is a real competitive advantage. For customers in Singapore’s important pharmaceutical market, IAG Cargo can now offer unrivaled quality through each and every step of the air cargo journey.”
   Officials said this announcement is just another step in IAG’s fleet renewal, which will see the delivery of six Boeing 777-300ERs, 24 787s and 12 Airbus A380s in the next decade.
