IAS fills two management positions

IAS fills two management positions Oakland-based logistics software firm International Asset Systems Wednesday added two industry veterans to management positions.
   Richard Hart has been named as IAS's vice president of business development, and Mark Yong is the new general manager, Asia-Pacific.
   Hart, who will develop strategic partnerships to expand IAS's business opportunities, brings 20 years of operational and management experience to the company. Prior to IAS he was in charge of sales and partnership management for portal firm GT Nexus. He has also held product management and development positions at Vitalz, Healtheon, PolyOptimum and Data Connection.
   Yong is a 14-year veteran of the transportation and e-commerce industries. Prior to joining IAS he oversaw commercial development in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh for INTTRA. Earlier, he held a variety of positions at P&O Nedlloyd and P&O Containers, advancing from an entry-level sales position to become the company's general manager of customer service and information technology for China.
