IAS names two new senior executives
Logistics technology provider International Asset Systems said Monday that Jim Schreitmueller, a longtime executive at Navis LLC, has been named senior vice president of sales and marketing, and J.P. Giovanni, a former executive at GE Capital and 'K' Line, has been named senior vice president of global client services.
Schreitmueller joined Oakland-based IAS on June 11, and Giovanni began at the firm in late May.
Schreitmueller spent 11 years with Oakland-based logistics software maker Navis, including serving as vice president of sales and marketing. Prior to Navis, he patented key technologies for a business unit of New Jersey-based Automatic Data Processing Inc.
Giovanni's transportation industry experience includes vice president-level responsibilities for 'K' Line America and CGM, and director-level positions at GE Capital's Genstar and GESeaCo business units.
