IBS Logistics picks G-Log software to manage China services

IBS Logistics picks G-Log software to manage China services    IBS Logistics, a ‘lead logistics’ provider of supply chain management services, has contracted with G-Log, a provider of logistics and transportation software, for a multi-task application to be used for operations between China and the U.S.
   IBS Logistics will use G-Log’s Global Command and Control Center software to provide end-to-end supply chain management services to and from China.
   The single Web-based system can handle multi-modal, multi-enterprise shipments, integrating planning, optimization, execution of contracts, and freight billing.
   The software platform “serves as a glass pipeline of transit information from the moment a ship sails until the freight lands at the dock door of a IBS Logistics customer,” who will also “receive alerts should a shipment not proceed as scheduled,” G-Log said in a statement.
