ICF railcars up for auction
The liquidator responsible for Intercontainer-Interfrigo SA has released 173 of the container railcars in the ICF wagon fleet for online auction.
Bids for this equipment must be submitted by 2 p.m. on April 28. Antwerp, Belgium-based online auctioneers Troostwijk NV will manage the bids.
One lot of railcars has a maximum capacity of one 40-foot container each. Most of this equipment is located in Hungary, with a few in Italy and Austria. The other lot comprises of short-coupled four-bogie low-loader railcars.
“With current heavy demand for intermodal rolling stock, this is a good opportunity for short-term acquisition of additional stock,” said Paul Weyers, auction manager.
