ICTSI names new head of Madagascar terminal

ICTSI names new head of Madagascar terminal International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) has named Gassen C. Dorsamy to chief operating officer and general manager for subsidiary Madagascar International Container Terminal Services, Ltd. (MICTSL).
   Dorsamy, formerly MICTSL's chief financial officer, assumes the position previously held by Christian R. Gonzalez, who has become vice president and general manager of ICTSI flagship Manila International Container Terminal in the Philippines.
   Dorsamy joined MICTSL in September 2005 as a member of the startup team that took over operations at the Madagascar International Container Terminal in Toamasina.
   Prior to MICTSL, he was director for administration and finance of the Floreal Group’s Madagascar unit from 1991 to 2002 and later head of administration and finance at Tropic Knits Ltd., Floreal’s unit in Mauritius, from 2002 to 2005.
