IDS plans to acquire Impac Logistics
Integrated Distribution Services of Hong Kong has announced plans to acquire U.S. garment logistics company Impac Logistic Services.
IDS said it had signed a non-binding agreement to buy the apparel logistics business of Impac, a garment-on-hanger service provider with operations in New Jersey, Los Angeles and Miami. Impac has 11 distribution centers totaling 1.4 million square feet and employs about 1,000 employees.
Subject to satisfactory due diligence by IDS, the parties intend a definitive agreement will be entered into by the end of September.
