Under terms of the agreement, One-See becomes an authorized reseller of IES's air and ocean AMS filing and electronic in-bond filing Web applications. Also, IES's AMS Query technology will be integrated into One-See's ACS Query application, and will be sold exclusively through One-See Solutions.
'Transportation parties are eager to access critical shipment information and eliminate spending hours on hold with steamship lines requesting AMS data. Now, they can view this data 24/7 from a Web browser,' IES said in a statement.
'One-See's primary focus is on Customs' clearance visibility,' said Bill Garrison, president of One-See Solutions. IES will continue to offer its core import and export applications, as well as its own Customs clearance Web applications.
