Inchcape appoints Cosgriff to head defense services unit
London-based Inchcape Shipping Services has appointed Larry Cosgriff as senior vice president, defense services.
Cosgriff has more than 30 years experience in the maritime industry, previously serving as a consultant with McMunn Associates and before that in senior executive positions with American Automar, APL and American Eagle Tankers among others. He has also served as a Merchant Marine officer (U.S. Coast Guard Master’s license).
“Larry brings extensive knowledge of international port operations and security issues to this new role. He is an expert on emerging maritime security threats and combined, these skills represent a strategically important asset to the company,” said Claus Hyldager, Inchape’s chief executive officer.
