Indian 3PL eyeing $25 million expansion
Indian logistics provider DRS Group is planning to build 1.4 million square feet of warehouse space in six metropolitan areas, the Hindu Business Line reported Tuesday.
The Hyderabad-based company, which started its operations in 1986, covers 40 Indian cities with 1,200 branches.
'We will spend Rs 110 crore ($24.7 million) on this,' A.K. Agarwal, marketing director for DRS told Business Line. 'The space will be ready by June. The country has just tapped the tip of the iceberg as far as organized retailing is concerned.'
