Individuals, entities blocked for ties to Iranian airlines

Office of Foreign Assets Control prohibits U.S. citizens from doing business with three people and six entities.

The Office of Foreign Assets Control has placed three individuals and six companies on its Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List because of their reported ties to Iranian airlines.
The individuals are Gulnihal Yegane, a Turkish woman linked to Mahan Air, and Iraj Ronaghi and Touraj Zanbaneh, Iranian men linked to Meraj Air.
The blocked entities, all linked to Mahan Air or Meraj Air, are Blue Airways and Dena Airways of Iran and Otik Aviation, Trigron Cargo Logistics, 3G Lojistik and Ra Havacilik Lojistik, all of Turkey.
The Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) publishes the names of individuals and entities placed on its Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List based on its determination that one or more applicable legal criteria were satisfied.
All property and interests in property subject to U.S. jurisdiction of these individuals are blocked, and U.S. citizens are generally prohibited from engaging in transactions with them, according to OFAC.
More information is available from the Federal Register.
