In addition to these new destinations, ITL already provided eastbound temperature-controlled door-to-door intermodal service from Spokane and Seattle in Washington State and Portland, Ore. to the following locations throughout the Midwest and East Coast: Illinois (greater Chicago and surrounding areas including western Michigan, southern Wisconsin and northern Indiana); New York (Buffalo area, New York City and its boroughs); Pennsylvania (Chambersburg, Harrisburg and Philadelphia areas); Maryland (greater Baltimore area); Massachusetts (Boston and Springfield areas); Georgia (greater Atlanta area); and Florida (Jacksonville, Orlando and Tampa Bay areas).
The service departs from/returns to intermodal ramps in Spokane, Seattle and Portland six days a week.
ITL has a service radius of approximately 160 miles to and from the intermodal ramps in these three cities.
Door-to-door transit times to/from the Midwest range from four days to five days, while transit times to/from various destinations on the East Coast range from six days to seven days.
