Intermarine moves Asian headquarters to Shanghai

Intermarine, a New Orleans-based provider of ocean transport and inland heavy-haul services for breakbulk and project cargoes, has moved its Asian headquarters from Seoul, South Korea, to Shanghai, China.

The company said Richard Seeg, area manager for Asia, would continue to direct services and agents from Intermarine (Shanghai).

Tri-Orient, Intermarine's longtime agent in China, will continue to provide 'logistics management for our vessels and cargo,' Intermarine said in a statement. Seeg will be 'working in China with Tri-Orient's support,' the company noted.

'Capt. D.C. Lee will continue to oversee operational matters in Asia from the Intermarine office in Seoul,' the company said. At the same time, Intercontinental will continue as Intermarine's general agent in South Korea.
