Intermarine opens office in Buenos Aires    Intermarine has opened a new office in Buenos Aires and is expanding its liner service to the East Coast of South America.
   For more than six years, Intermarine has been making port calls at Buenos Aires as part of its regular U.S. Gulf/Brazil service. In the last year, the frequency of calls has increased to twice per month and service to Argentina and Uruguay have been added.
   “We have seen a growing demand for project cargoes in the region, and the opening of our own office in Buenos Aires is needed to insure the quality of service and customer responsiveness that we deliver at Intermarine,” said Eric Alber, vice president of the service.
   The new office will be headed by Patrick Fallon, who moved to Buenos Aires in early August. He brings a decade of experience with Intermarine, most recently as commercial manager for Intermarine’s U.S.-flag services.
