Kristian Gerhard Jebsen Skipsrederi of Bergen will pay $236 million for Belden Shipholding Pte Ltd., which owned nine cement carrier ships, one barge and one tug boat.
After debt obligations and net working capital consideration, Belden’s owners will share cash proceeds from the sale of about $107 million.
International Shipholding owned a 26.1 percent stake in the company. Other shareholders included Compania Sudamericana De Vapores (CSAV), JACO Cement AS and Belcem Invest AS.
