INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING LINES GOES INTO RECEIVERSHIP

   International Shipping Lines, established in Portugal in 1986 has gone into receivership. The carrier offered direct services from Portugal to Angola, West Africa and Cape Verde, off West Africa.

   The Antwerp office was closed on Sept. 18 and offices in Lisbon and Leixoes are expected to close next week.

   Recently Nile Dutch Africa Line started a 20-day service mirroring the former ISL service calling at Antwerp, Leixoes, Lisbon, Mindelo, Praia, Sao Tome, Luanda, Cabinda, Antwerp, Leixoes and Lisbon.
