INTTRA IS INCORPORATED

INTTRA, the shipping portal of Maersk Sealand, P&O Nedlloyd, Mediterranean Shipping Co., CMA CGM and the Hamburg-Sud group, has been incorporated in the state of Delaware.

The company is evaluating senior executives from outside the member carriers to become the chief executive officer of INTTRA, said Rob Warren, marketing manager of the company.

It is expected that Hapag-Lloyd’s membership in INTTRA will be announced in the next few days.

Warren said that none of the carrier shareholders of INTTRA owns a majority stake in the company and each carrier has equal voting rights.

The headquarters of INTTRA Inc. will be established in Parsipany, N.J., according to sources close to the company. The INTTRA joint venture, founded in December, has operated from temporary offices located near Copenhagen, Denmark.
