INTTRA launches tender application    INTTRA, an e-commerce shipping portal, has introduced new software for shippers and ocean carriers that aims to make the tender proposal process smoother for all.
   When handling tender data, “users often work with information that is non-comparable and presented in different formats,” INTTRA said in a statement.
   The portal’s new Web-based application allows carriers and shippers to create, design, send and receive tender proposals using standard data formats, in a workflow mode that “breaks through the limitations of traditional Excel-based tender processes,” INTTRA explained.
   The new application is available for anyone, all carriers and non-vessel-operating common carriers, to access and use at no charge.
   Data may be stored, archived, and reused via the software, which also allows multiple tender proposals to be tracked and managed over multiple rounds.
