INTTRA picks Cognizant for tech testing

   INTTRA, a global provider of e-commerce applications for the ocean freight industry, said it plans to streamline the development and quality assurance testing efforts for its applications to a single partner, Cognizant.
   Cognizant, a New Jersey-based technology consulting and business processing service, will help INTTRA develop efficient ocean freight management and e-commerce solutions and speed up their release to market.
   “The global ocean shipping industry is going through significant structural changes. Our goal is to provide the best and most useful products to our customers to help them streamline the processing of ocean freight and optimize global ocean supply chains,” said Ivan Latanision, senior vice president of product management at INTTRA, in a statement. 
   “We will leverage our broad technology expertise and global delivery footprint to help INTTRA define new standards and benchmarks in data supply chain transformation and information services for the ocean shipping industry,” added Tarun Anand, vice president of the information, media, and entertainment practice at Cognizant.
