IRONPLANET NAMES ALLEGER CEO
IronPlanet Inc., based in Pleasanton, Calif., an online marketplace for used heavy equipment, has appointed Robert B. Alleger Jr., as president and chief executive officer.
Alleger was president of DynCorp Technical Services Inc. Before that, he worked for Lockheed Martin and General Electric. He had been a member of IronPlanet’s board of directors during the company’s initial round of financing.
