The ITF said the Web site, www.itfglobal.org/maersk, is intended to be a communications tool for a global network of trade unions representing employees of Maersk or its subcontractors.
'This is a great initiative by the Maersk Network,” said Stuart Howard, ITF’s assistant general secretary. “Right from the start, trade unions and their members have been actively involved in setting up the Web site. Such collaborative working can only continue to make the Web site a success and build the network even further in the future.'
