ITS Logistics expands brokerage division offices

The third-party logistics provider said it will triple the office space for its fast-growing freight brokerage operations in downtown Reno, Nev.    ITS Logistics will triple the office space for its fast-growing freight brokerage operations in downtown Reno, Nev., the company said in a statement.
   The third-party logistics provider specializes in personalized supply chain solutions with an asset-based dedicated fleet, warehousing and distribution services, and nationwide multi-modal freight brokerage.
   ITS National, the company’s brokerage arm, provides truckload, less-than-truckload and intermodal brokerage and transportation management to large and small shippers in the United States. The division makes up approximately 40 percent of overall revenues for ITS Logistics.
   The move comes at the same time ITS Logistics is completing the relocation of its corporate office, warehouse and distribution center and Reno/Sparks trucking operations into a 630,000-square-foot facility, also in Reno.
   Mike Crawford, general manager of the freight brokerage group, said the company sees important strategic advantages in the location of its office expansion.
   “Our team works hard every day, and they like the vibe of downtown and Midtown—fitness centers, great restaurants, coffee shops and the ability to take a lunchtime run by the Truckee River,” Crawford said. “It was important to us, being so invested in the Northern Nevada community for more than 16 years, to continue to support and be a part of the awesome downtown environment Reno has.”
   The building is owned and managed by Reno-based Basin Street Properties.
