Jacksonville port adds job listings to Web site
The Jacksonville Port Authority has added a section to its Web site (http://www.jaxport.com) for job listings for maritime companies doing business at the port.
Prospective employees can check job listings, post resumes and get information about the port and local maritime companies free of charge at http://www.jaxportjobs.com.
“This convenient site replaces the need to contact myriad companies individually to search for an opening at the port,” said Rick Ferrin, the port authority’s executive director.
Free job listings range from warehousing and trucking to logistics, marketing and marine engineering, the port said in a statement.
