Jacksonville port again sets revenue growth record The Jacksonville Port Authority earned $39.9 million in operating revenues in fiscal year 2007, up 11.4 percent from $38.5 million in fiscal year 206, and the seventh consecutive year of record revenue, according to its annual report released Wednesday.
   In 2007 the port authority's facilities handled 8.31 million tons of cargo and experienced gains in vehicle and other roll-on/roll-off cargo, as well as growth in bulk cargoes.
   The report 'projects a positive outlook for 2008, including the opening of the new TraPac Container Terminal at Dames Point, Carnival Cruise Lines' commitment of a newer, larger ship to Jacksonville' and the port's increasing role as an East coast hub, the port said.
