Jacksonville port ceremony marks next phase for TraPac The Port of Jacksonville today conducted a ceremony marking work on the first layer of the foundation for the TraPac Container Terminal being developed for Mitsui O.S.K. Lines.
   Ground work has been underway for months, but the start of work on the foundation marks the next phase of construction, an event port officials are describing as a major milestone. Officials from MOL joined senior port management, the port's board of directors, and Jacksonville Mayor John Peyton for the ceremony.
   The $220 million TraPac terminal, scheduled to open in late 2008, will dramatically increase the port's Asia trade volumes, and is expect to double total port volumes within a year and a half of the opening.
