In addition to the election of Nelson, the board elected Ricardo Morales, Jr. vice chairman, Ambassador Marilyn McAffee as secretary, and William C. Mason III as treasurer.
The board elects officers to one-year terms coinciding with the port fiscal year. Other members of the board include Thomas P. Jones, Jr.; T. Martin 'Marty' Fiorentino, Jr.; and Jerry W. Davis.
