JF Hillebrand buys Ferry International
JF Hillebrand has strengthened its dedicated wine and beverage logistics services in Italy by acquiring Milan-based Ferry International SRL.
Ferry International was founded in 1978 and employs 15 staff. The company provides door-to-door logistics services by road, rail and sea to exporters and importers across Italy.
'The Ferry International team will play a pivotal role in supporting our ongoing investment in European door-to-door movements,' said Gavin Herman, JF Hillebrand's area manager for Southern Europe, in a statement.
JF Hillebrand launched European Transport Solutions last year, to expand and strengthen its existing distribution network tailored to the needs of the European wine market.
