   Global Container Terminals Inc. said Mike Journeycake has joined the company as senior vice president commercial, where he will be responsible for the strategic leadership and direction for Global Container Terminals' commercial activities for the United States and Canada.
   Journeycake has more than 20 years international maritime experience with Maersk, most recently working in Los Angeles as director of sales for the Pacific Southwest. Prior to that, he was global sales director in Zurich, Switzerland, developing logistics services for the largest global accounts in Central Europe.
   He will be based out of Seattle and will divide his time between Vancouver, New York and New Jersey.
   Global operates four container terminals through three principal businesses in North America: TSI Terminal Systems Inc. in Vancouver and Delta, British Columbia; New York Container Terminal on Staten Island, N.Y.; and Global Terminal & Container Services in Bayonne, N.J.
