Jurong Port’s April throughput slips 10%
Jurong Port in Singapore, which handles a mixture of bulk, breakbulk and container cargo, handled 71,000 TEUs in April, down 10.1 percent compared to 79,000 TEUs in the same month last year.
For the year-to-date, the port has moved 287,000 TEUs, a drop of 1.4 percent from 291,000 TEUs in the corresponding period 2005.
