Jurong’s TEU volume plummets in August
The Port of Jurong said Wednesday its container throughput for August was down 23 percent from August 2005.
Total volume through the port was 62,000 TEUs, down from 81,000 in August 2005. Total TEU volume for 2006 is down 10 percent from last year, at 543,000 TEUs through August.
