“K” LINE AMERICA INTRODUCES EMAIL ARRIVAL NOTICES
"K" Line America, the U.S. arm of the
"K" Line shipping group, said that it has introduced a system of email and fax
arrival notices for import customers in North America.
Importers who are the "notify party" on import bills of
lading can now receive an arrival notice two to five days prior to vessel arrival at the
first discharge port.
Email and fax notices contain more shipment details than the
traditional mailed version, "K" Line said.
